Head Of Industrial And Manpower Office Of Purworejo Inspected English Training. Cangkrep (April 19th)
The head of Industrial and manpower of Purworejo Regency, Gathot Suprapto, unexpectedly inspected the class of English of Competency Based Training in House of Work Training or Balai Latihan Kerja Kabupaten Purworejo. The Head entered the room while the student did the listening and dialog practices by the instructor. The class then paused for the speech of the Head. Together with the Head of House of Work Training Sudarman, both structural executive inspected how the training done.
The Head of Industrial and manpower of Purworejo Regency, Gathot Suprapto also gave motivational speech to the students. All six teen students listened focusly the speech. Gathot said he had has a friend that can not speak english even e word. She was Pekalongan citizen. But because of her experience in working abroad, she could speak english better than anyone of her friends, included Gathot. The english lesson was simple and easy according to Gathot. You (the students) only needed to be used to speak and listen english. With training like this, you all were forced to listen and speak english for you to be fluent and speak well.
Gathot also asked the instructor about the curriculum. The instructor replied that it was Junior Administrative Assistant or office based english. Continued the speech, Gathot said that Purworejo is entering new era of tourism, and would need a lot of tour guide to promote purworejo’s potential tourism spot and also accompany many tourists from foreign country who landed on Yogyakarta International Airport. So, although this training program was based on office english, the student must open their mind for tourism propects and jobs.
In the end of his speech, Gathot asked the student to learn english harder and smarter, to encrease their competencies and capabilities to compete in the job market in the future.
